As the anime goes, the first season is really the best. The second is pretty decent too, has its moments, but I have a big soft spot for the novels, especially for the ground covered by the second season. They're exceptionally well written for popular fiction. Even with the aggressive editing, the TokyoPop versions turned out okay, so I've heard anyway. |

| Hi! I'm 20 and I live in Portugal. I'm an art student and I love photography and drawing - among other things... I watch animes on TV since I was a little kid (like Dragon Ball, Sailor Moon, Saint Seiya, ...), but it was only in 2008 that I began expanding the amount of animes I watched... and mangas. But, sadly, lately I haven't had the time nor the patience to watch as many animes as I would like. :/ Other hobbies: listenning to music and swimming <3. And that's all for now. | Hi everyone, I'm Luna. I'm 27 and live in Germany. I've been watching/reading anime and manga for several years (started with Sailor Moon) and I still love this hobby because there are always new interesting series to discover and I also like to talk about them with other people :) I don't have much time for many other hobbies but other things I'm interested in are for example languages, web design, animals (especially cats ^^), books. I've been learning Japanese for quite some time and have some good basics (around N4) but it's still a long way to go. My favorite music: anime OPs/EDs, other J-Pop/J-Rock (not everything), Metal (some genres). Nice to meet you all :) |

I'm currently 24-years old and I have been an anime & manga fan from age 12, so that's quite a long time already! My first series that I obsessed over was Ranma ½. Nowadays I don't have such an burning passion for anime that I had when I was little kid, but I still enjoy watching all kinds of shows randomly. | I was learning Japanese from my Phone but it got erased when i had it checked out afew weeks ago. My phone gets where it Locks and wants to scroll down all the time or to the left which drives me crazy up the wall sometimes.. I can be txting and the thing just Force close on me and apps ill be looking on or using and the whole phone just locks up and freezes because it wants to scroll by itself sometimes. 2nd phone ive had and its done the same thing withn 4-5 months time. |

| @Lumikki I started studying several languages at the university (just for fun, languages are not my major), but unfortunately they didn't offer Finnish =/ otherwise I would have chosen it! But everytime I see Finnish I think that it must be very interesting. Maybe in the future ;D Great words, you won't have any problems when you come to the Oktoberfest and try to find a boyfriend xD @Neko that sucks >.< I don't have a phone with apps at the moment, maybe I'll try it some day, hopefully without problems... |

I know some places say that MAL doesn't have that great of a userbase or it's not that informative, but from what I can see you guys are very welcoming and have great wealth of information within hands reach. There are tons of good things on MAL ( like this lovely club we have) and on the other hand lots of annoying stuff like lacking website, childish users on basic forums etc. But like you said, MAL has the best and largest anime database, which makes it like a heaven for otakus and other anime/manga freaks. |

| hi =) I'm Hel (well...not actually :P) I'm 25 years old, from Switzerland but currently doing an education on an interpreter school in Germany. I'm not doing interpreter there b something that is called something like 'foreign language secretary'. The language part I like a lot and I wanna do that interpreter education on the same school after this one, because the secretary part I don't like at all actually :P I'm having Spanish as first language and English a 2nd there, also going to a Japanese course ^^ Beside that I like to draw, but I'm pretty lazy as well and so not progressing as far as I wish I would :P and getting too easily distracted by animes =D uhh.. guess that's it ^^ |
